Leased Line Connections
Internet access over leased lines is state of the art: the most powerful, versatile and trouble-free access method. Usually this is done via a router at the customer site and a synchronous line leased from the PTT. Alternatively, a low-cost variant is an asynchronous leased line connected to a UNIX box or terminal server via SLIP (Serial Line IP) or PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol).We provide international and national Internet capacity, take care of routing, domain name service, E-Mail backup, and a newsfeed.
The hardware you need is
a Router or computer with SLIP or PPP software.
As software you should have
for Unix machines, the Morningstar PPP
(Point-to-Point protocol) software. Please check with us for availability on your platform.
We offer you
permanent, trouble-free (no, I won't say anything about the PTT here) worldwide IP
connectivity, routing through the EUnet infrastructure and other Internet-connected networks,
no volume or time-based charges (easy to budget for),
Domain Name Service management,
Routing of additional customer networks upon request,
all EUnet services: Mail, USENET News, FTP and W3 archive,
no limitations regarding NSFnet acceptable use policy when connecting
to CIX (Commercial Internet Exchange) member networks,

On-site installation: upon request, we install a Dialup-IP solution at your
site. Please contact us for a quote.
Router maintenance: we take care of configuration and ongoing management of your
router if desired.

Terms and Conditions
Payment is per quarter in advance, payment inside 14 days 3%, 30 days nett. The first invoice will only charge for the basic rate, from the 2nd. quarter the volume-dependent charges for the previous period will be charged, and the average taken as advance payment.The contract runs for 12 months and extends automatically if we are not notified in writing 6 months before the end of the contract.
Prices are in Austrian Schillings excluding value added tax (20%). Telephone support is limited to a single contact person and a backup person.
